readwith3: If you missed church today, read the Bible with me. Today’s word comes from Romans 5:1-11: If you’re going to take your relationship with God to another level, you’re going to need faith. God is not good because of what we have done. God is good in spite of what we have done. Romans 5 reminds us that through faith, we have peace with God. It’s okay to have doubts and questions. This world can be an evil place, but the God we serve is not watching our struggles from a distance. He is right there in the trenches with us. You might not understand where God is taking you, but as long as you and God are on one accord, keep moving forward. You may have to say, “I don’t understand where He’s taking me, but I’m going anyhow.” Verses 3-4 tell us to rejoice in our suffering because suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope.
