A Lakeville hangar owner is seeking answers after his Xcel Energy account balance climbed above $61,000 following months of unusually high electricity charges. Terry Zeien says the three cold-storage airplane hangars at Airlake Airport have used relatively little electricity for decades, but his bills began spiking after a digital meter was installed. Xcel Energy says it has visited the property and reviewed the account and is now working to investigate the meter further.
