Two sisters are now facing a much larger list of charges after investigators accused them of going on a three-day retail theft spree across the Phoenix area.
Phoenix police say sisters Ivonne Buitrago-Cabrera and Yoraima Buitrago-Cabrera, who are from Colombia, allegedly hit 13 Ulta Beauty locations across Maricopa County in just three days, filling bags with merchandise and leaving without paying.
The losses from the Arizona spree were estimated at more than $75,000, but investigators say the case goes beyond Ulta. Police have also linked the sisters to alleged thefts from Lacoste, Adidas, Puma and Crocs, and said the pair has been connected to more than $155,000 in alleged retail thefts between Arizona and California.
Their cases have also expanded since their arrests.
