Ken Carson’s Xperimenting tour is one of the most stacked tours of the year, and no one is talking about it.  While this tour lies in the wake of one of the biggest rage albums of the year, the much more fascinating part of Carson’s choices with Xperiment as an album and tour lies within his choices to platform the next generation of stars. This desire to put on the next generation of talent also shows itself in the bill of the Xperimenting tour, featuring legendary producer djmoon alongside two of the most exciting artists to emerge from the greater underground scene, that being xaviersobased and prettifun. Prettifun, along with egobreak DJ’ing, was the first to take the stage after DJ moon on the DC stop of the tour. While prettifun’s music is more inherently digital and abstract than a 15-minute live set could properly showcase, he and egobreak did surprisingly well at bringing the bright world of his projects to a live stage while fitting fan-favorites into the setlist.
