It was trained on more than 30 layers of data from nine instruments across four NASA missions and can help identify lunar ice, map craters, and analyze volcanic terrain. NASA and IBM say it identified key lunar features with up to 23 percent greater accuracy than widely used methods. That is more than AI applied to astronomy. It is reconnaissance for permanent lunar infrastructure. Then Europe moved toward a different kind of scale. OroraTech will place as many as 96 infrared sensors aboard future Eutelsat satellites, increasing its observation capacity by nearly 500 percent without building an entirely separate constellation. Spacecraft are becoming platforms. Sensors become applications. Amazon also ordered six more Ariane 6 launches, bringing its commitment to 24 through 2031 and giving Europe’s e...
