Ousmane Kromah is quickly becoming one of the biggest bright spots for Florida State. The former four-star running back arrived in Tallahassee as one of the top players in FSU’s 2025 recruiting class after starring at Lee County High School in Georgia. As a true freshman, Kromah showed flashes of his potential while playing behind Florida State’s more experienced backs. He finished 2025 with 408 rushing yards on just 72 carries, averaging 5.7 yards per attempt, while adding 147 receiving yards and a touchdown. Now, as a sophomore, his role has completely changed. Kromah opened 2026 by rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries against New Mexico State, averaging 8.2 yards per attempt in Florida State’s 34–17 victory.
