Florida State’s fall from the top of college football has been almost impossible to believe. Less than three years ago, the Seminoles were 13–0, ACC Champions and one win away from completing an undefeated regular season before becoming the first undefeated Power Five champion to be left out of the College Football Playoff. At the time, it felt like Mike Norvell had completely rebuilt Florida State. Since then, almost everything has fallen apart. After the infamous 63–3 Orange Bowl loss to Georgia ended the 2023 season, Florida State entered 2024 ranked No. 10 in the country with expectations of competing for another ACC Championship.
