The Over-Nurturer is the most dangerous love identity. Here's why. π©
"If I give enough, I'll feel loved."
"If I give enough, I'll be chosen."
"If I give enough, he'll eventually give back to me."
Sound familiar?
The Over-Nurturer doesn't realize she's consistently depleting herself. Dishonoring herself. Taking from herself. Exhausting herself. Burning herself out β all in the name of love.
She finds it nearly impossible to receive. She doesn't know how to ask for help or allow support. She thinks she has to carry everything alone.
So she gives. She nurtures. She nourishes everyone around her.
And she receives nothing in return.
This is why so many Over-Nurturers show up with health problems, mental health struggles, and emotional wounds β because she is not pouring into herself.
If this is you, it's not a character flaw. It's a pattern. And patterns can be changed. π
