This year is the first time all of the boys tennis players have been allowed on the Lancer Day float. In the past, only the top six players have been able to come on the float, but this year the team decided to invite all of the boys seniors to come on the float with the girls.  The girls and boys tennis met at senior Annie Trenkle and sophomore Molly Kate Trenkle’s home on Tuesday, Sept. 8. The theme was Lancer’s Road to Glory and tennis chose to do Wimbledon, the famous tennis tournament. The team was split into two groups, one inside the house blowing up balloons and coloring signs for the parade and the other group was outside helping set up the actual float with tinsel, a huge tennis racket and a Wimbledon poster.
