Elly De La Cruz is putting together another electric season in 2026. Through 127 games, he’s hitting .283 with 26 home runs, 70 RBIs, 89 runs and a .873 OPS. He’s showing that he’s much more than just speed and power. And then there’s the defense. Recently against the Dodgers, Elly unleashed a 105.3 MPH throw to the plate to cut down a runner trying to score. One second, the Dodgers are threatening — the next, Elly completely shuts it down. That arm is simply unreal. And this isn’t new for Elly. Earlier in his career, he made another ridiculous play, picking up a loose ball and firing an absolute rocket to first base. Power, speed, range and an elite arm — Elly De La Cruz doesn’t just make highlights, he creates them. - follow ( slugger.report ) for insane baseball content - #baseball #mlb #baseballplays #ellydelacruz #cincinattireds
