Five snaps into the season. That’s all it took for Seattle’s entire game plan to get flipped upside down. Sam Darnold goes down against New England and suddenly Drew Lock is getting thrown straight into the fire with basically zero warning. No easing into the season, no comfortable backup reps. Just grab the helmet and go try to keep the defending champs alive. And honestly, this is exactly why having a capable backup QB matters so much. Nobody wants to see Darnold’s season start like this, especially after everything Seattle accomplished last year. Hopefully the injury isn’t anything serious and he’s back quickly. Drew Lock just got handed one hell of an opportunity. If he comes in and somehow leads Seattle past New England, that stadium is going to absolutely lose it. Can Drew Lock save the Seahawks tonight? 👇🔥 #SamDarnold #DrewLock #Seahawks #NFL #NFLKickoff
