Happy 93rd Birthday to Willie Mays! 🎂 Mays was a member of Chattanooga’s very own Negro League team, the Chattanooga Choo-Choos! He played for the Choo-Choos while still in high school. During the summers of 1945 & 1946, his father would drive him from Fairfield, Alabama to Chattanooga, Tennessee to play at Lincoln Park. The Choo-Choos was Mays’ 1st professional team. #WillieMays #SayHeyKid
