🚨Hate paint brushing your attacks? 🤝 Build a connection with your setter. A lot of middles expect their timing with their setter to just “click.” ❌ But that connection doesn’t happen by accident. 🙋🏻‍♂️ One of the best things you can do is stay after training and get extra reps with your setter. Why? During a normal practice, you might get 1 set every couple of minutes — if you’re lucky. That’s not enough reps to really dial in your connection. Instead, get 5–10 balls in a row with your setter. 🎥 This allows you to focus on: 1️⃣ Timing — When do you need to start your approach? 2️⃣ Spacing — Where does the ball need to be for you to attack your best? 3️⃣ Direction — Where do you want the ball so you can attack different zones? The goal isn’t just to get more swings.
