Around 30 robots gathered outside Poland’s Ministry of Digital Affairs in Warsaw, but they weren’t there to promote the future. They were protesting it 🤖🇵🇱 Organized by the Democratism initiative, the demonstration featured humanoid robots, robotic dogs, and wheeled machines carrying messages like “Defend workplaces” and “Time for rules.” The protest was designed to spotlight how quickly AI and robotics are advancing, and the growing fear that automation could replace workers across both physical and knowledge-based jobs. Organizer Grzegorz Kulis argued that this is no longer some distant scenario, while Poland’s Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski warned that increasingly capable robots powered by poorly controlled AI could become a serious challenge.
