Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis said Monday they carried out a large-scale attack on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the operation targeted military facilities and infrastructure, including aircraft hangars, radars, runways and ammunition storage areas. He said the attack involved “tens of ballistic missiles and drones” and caused significant losses at the base. Saree said the strikes were carried out in response to what he described as Saudi “aggression” against Yemen, claiming Saudi aircraft had conducted more than 300 strikes across Yemeni provinces over the past five days. Saudi Civil Defense issued alerts for potential danger in the southern cities of Najran, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Abha on Monday before later declaring the areas clear. The claims could not be independently verified. #Yemen #SaudiArabia #Houthis #MiddleEast #RedSea #Iran #Conflict
