Heavy rain flooded streets and submerged cars in Westport, Connecticut, on Sunday, as local officials urged residents to remain at home. Video footage showed vehicles partly underwater, while other cars attempted to pass through flooded roads. Westport’s fire department said crews responded to reports of stranded drivers, water entering basements and carbon monoxide alarms. Some roads became impassable, and officials warned that further rainfall could worsen conditions. #Connecticut #Westport #Flooding #HeavyRain #US #Weather #Storm
