A new memorial honouring military personnel and veterans who have died by suicide has been unveiled at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. The Elysium Memorial, is the UK’s first permanent tribute dedicated specifically to those lost to mental health struggles. The memorial follows the deaths of more than 1,300 serving personnel and veterans by suicide over the past three decades.
