#TakeActionTuesday: The fall college sports season is proving what we already know: people want to watch women’s sports. On August 20th, the University of Georgia women’s soccer team drew 25,433 fans to Sanford Stadium for its match against James Madison, setting a new NCAA attendance record for a college soccer game, women’s or men’s. This turnout speaks for itself. These large crowds do more than create an exciting game-day environment. They show the demand for women’s sports and help young girls in the stands see what is possible. #TheEquityProject Your Turn: 1. Find a women’s college team near you and show your support by attending a game this fall. 2. Host a watch party featuring your favorite fall women’s college sports and invite local recreation teams to come cheer on the athletes together. 3. In the comments, tag the college team you’re excited to watch this season!
