A bit about synchronicity… I was looking and noticed in the pic I posted last week of myself warming up ahead of the English Grand Prix in 1991, that I was wearing the number 6 as my number. In fact, this was the last contest before I won my first of six Olympia titles! It got me thinking throughout my life about various cases of synchronicity that I’ve experienced, it’s all connected I believe. For example, way back when I was a kid, I formed a strong bond with a pony that I had called ‘Shadow’. Then some 20 years later, I was given the nickname of ‘The Shadow’ in the bodybuilding world. Also when I moved out and lived in my flat in Birmingham, it was on the rather appropriately named ‘Yatesbury Avenue’… and guess which number I lived at… number 6! And pretty much every day, I see a reg plate with ‘DY’ on there. I remember being on the phone to the team at DY Nutrition and I noticed a reg plate with ‘DYN’.
