💫 Adidas and Pixar just turned Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater into real football cleats, and the details go way beyond a simple movie-logo collab. Released as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Cars, the pack puts McQueen on the low-cut Adizero Electric II and Mater on the higher-cut Adizero Impact II Mid. Lightning’s pair goes full race-livery with a bright red upper, yellow lightning graphics, the #95, Rust-eze branding, sponsor-style decals, and his windshield eyes staring over the laces. Even the Three Stripes are worked into the racing graphics, while the red cleated outsole makes it look like McQueen was literally translated into footwear. Mater’s version might be even crazier, using rusty brown, faded blue, and aqua tones to mimic his weathered tow-truck body.
