I want to make my position clear from the start: I believe Sydney Sweeney has every right to participate in sexualized content. Women should have the agency to present themselves however they choose. But defending someone’s right to make a choice does not mean believing that choice exists without consequences. And personally, I think this particular choice has damaging consequences for women in sports.
