Iceland just hands out waterfalls like they are candy! And I’ve got a sweet tooth for them. First, Seljalandsfoss, where we walked right behind one hundred ninety seven feet of glacial water thundering off a volcano that once grounded flights across an entire continent. We stood there soaked, the roar drowning out the whole world. Then just down the trail, the real secret, Gljúfrabúi, a waterfall hiding inside its own private canyon, whose name literally means canyon dweller. We waded a stream and squeezed through a gap in the rock to unclock its secrets. Stepping inside felt like finding a hidden room Iceland had saved just for us.
