🚨 DEPUTIES RESCUE DRIVER FROM VEHICLE FIRE Early this morning, two deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station came upon a solo-vehicle collision near Newhall Avenue and Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita. Without hesitation, the deputies rushed toward the vehicle and discovered it had begun to catch fire. With the driver still trapped inside, the deputies shattered the vehicle’s windows and worked quickly to rescue the sole occupant from the burning vehicle. Thanks to their quick actions and courage, the driver was safely removed from the vehicle and transported for medical treatment. We’re grateful to report that the driver is receiving care and recovering from their injuries. This is a powerful reminder of the dedication our deputies demonstrate every day when seconds matter, they don’t hesitate to act. We commend these deputies for their bravery and quick response. 👏 #rescue #scv #heroes #community video provided by sixtyfivetom
