Visited our courtyard recently? ☕ A century ago, people were also taking their lunch there! Then, it was part of the Piccadilly, an elegant tea room and celebrated restaurant. Operating from the 1920s through the mid-’50s, the Piccadilly boasted not only the Venetian courtyard but also views of Lake Michigan. Across its four main dining rooms, it catered to tenants and non-tenants alike, including operagoers visiting the nearby Auditorium Theatre. We love that 100 years later, people are still enjoying their afternoon pick-me-ups in this gorgeous space and taking in the sounds of the Fine Arts Building!
