Classic 🤣🤣 DaBaby, born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk in 1991, is a rapper from Charlotte, North Carolina who built his reputation through relentless mixtape output before breaking through commercially in 2019 with his album Baby on Baby and the hit single “Suge.” His style leans on rapid, percussive flows, blunt punchlines, and an aggressive, high energy delivery that made him one of the most recognizable voices in mainstream hip hop during that period. He followed up with Kirk later that year, further cementing his commercial momentum, and continued releasing projects like Blame It on Baby. His career has also been marked by controversy, including comments made at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021 that led to significant industry backlash, cancelled festival slots, and a noticeable cooling of his mainstream popularity, though he has continued recording and performing since. #rapmusic #dababy #hiphop #funny
