A little bit of drama tucked behind the hallway. On the ground floor of this grand Victorian Hampstead home, where the kitchen, dining room and informal living spaces all sit, it made sense to fit in a powder room / WC too. We concealed it behind a secret door in the hallway wall, so when it is closed you would barely know it was there. The hallway is warm autumnal tones with taupe and grey green, so inside we pushed the colour further with a richer, more vivid green, rich marble and bronze details. Small rooms are often the best place to be a little braver. #nancygouldstonearchitects #nancygouldstoneinteriors #powderroom #guestWC #VictorianHouse
