When people think of America, they mostly picture tall buildings, crazy traffic, lights, noise… all of that.
But this is the America I live in. 🥹🤍 my home my Seattle.
A lake right next to my home, Mount Rainier casually showing off in the background, trees everywhere and air that actually feels fresh when you breathe it in.
I can literally just walk out of my house and come here. And some days I stop and think… how lucky am I that this is my everyday life?
Seattle summer is pretty much over now, there’s that little crispness in the air again, and I’m trying to enjoy every bit of it before the real cold kicks in.
I’ve lived the busy city life too, but there’s something about being this close to nature that makes me feel so content. Like I don’t need much in that moment. Just sit here, breathe, look around and exist.
Never thought this would be my version of America when I moved here 10 years ago.
But I’m so glad it is. 🤍
