“Everything has to change.” [Story below] Selected as a part of thefindlab’s Community Photo Exhibit at their Provo location until July 5th. Upon submission, I had to make a name for this photo- a photo I’ve already printed in my ‘2020 Film in Review’ book, and that I see next to my espresso machine daily- but have never named. I don’t know if I’ve ever named a photo. What I always explain to friends about the still, are the elements that are no longer around- Kitty the cat has since passed. I, and the crew, no longer live in that house (to be continued…) The tree reflection in the upper left window, was one we all commonly saw in our film photography- and had since been cut down. (Last photo) Similarly in the vein of change, my BMW E28 had emerged for the first time in three years from the garage with a long list of stark refreshments… nowhere near the same car as before. And all of that was just as of last month… This month, after naming and submission, it went even further… ...
