Wanted to complete the BMW Classic 5-Series film post trifecta (I dont think I have a single E12 film photo) with this auto E34 540i that I bought to take the wheels off of. Parked for three years for a “knock,” I changed the oil, reinstalled the fallen oil pump bolts (see final frame), and it sounded fine. Detailed and polished the car (check those wheel wells). Painted the rear bumper. Swapped the MSystems out for the lame wheels that came on my E36 with nice tires, sold the car, sold the 7 MSystem covers (shouldnt have sold the three Turbines). In the end I was still -$400, but with bare MSystem 17x8 wheels. So that’s still a mild positive… for like 20~ hours of work? Ha… November 2021.
