On lower production “gorilla” style trips/shoots like this, or as a lone shooter, my mind is always bouncing around different mediums for recording. Will this be a good moment for some realistic and relatable iPhone footage, can only my phone’s camera and stabilization make something on this insanely bumpy trail, is this shot too nice to not shoot on my mirrorless… should I be a tough guy and try doing both in case I make some BTS footage to pair..? And here we are. This spot was on day 1/stage 1 of traveling during the 2022 Norra Mexican 1000, from Ensenada to San Felipe.
