Chanakya, also known as Kautilya, is closely associated with the rise of Chandragupta Maurya and with the Arthashastra tradition of governance, economics, diplomacy and statecraft.
š CHANDRAGUPTA ā STATECRAFT
In the late 4th century BCE, Chandragupta founded the Mauryan dynasty and built a powerful state that came to encompass a vast part of the Indian subcontinent.
But perhaps their story becomes most interesting when we put the two together.

Chanakya reminds us of the power of thought and strategy.
Chandragupta reminds us that vision matters only when it can be translated into leadership, institutions and execution.
