I took a huge leap of faith in myself about two weeks ago and launched a series of original #illustrations on Etsy. I just broke $1000 in #profit... In just TWO WEEKS! I didn't think I would get to this point in the first 6 months, let alone less than one! I didn't take a loan out, I didn't seek out #angelinvestors, and I didn't design these with the intent of quickly flipping them for a #profit. No, I took a few weeks of bad weather, a decade and a half of learned design skills, and an opportunity to finally design from my heart. And it's actually. Paying. Off! Between juggling two part time jobs, a #freelance career, and teaching seven one-on-one students, I've been able to knock out about one illustration every other day. If I can find a path to making this a #sustainable operation, I am certain I can up it to a new illustration every single day! I don't know where the next two weeks and beyond will take me, but I have a fire under my butt and a glimpse of hope that maybe...
