Every year since 2014 when March 24 — National Orange Day — rolls around, Syracuse University seniors who’ve been doubling as Otto the Orange reveal their identities. For those closest to the student mascots, it’s a shocking and amusing discovery. The eight class of 2026 Ottos made school history as the largest group to unveil together. When Audrey Becker first started out as Otto her sophomore year, performing was daunting. But she soon adopted the orange’s loving, outgoing personality. “Once I was doing my thing and Otto was out there, all of my worries melted away because it wasn’t me,” Becker said. Click the link in our bio to learn more.
