In its final home game of the regular season, No. 5 Syracuse men’s lacrosse cruised to a 14-7 win over Colgate Saturday. SU led by just two goals early in the third quarter but pulled away late for its second straight victory. With an assist on Michael Leo’s goal, Joey Spallina passed Mike Powell to become Syracuse’s all-time points leader with 308. Spallina scored two goals, but Leo and Finn Thomson stole the show, scoring four each. Casey Quinson, Colgate’s leading scorer entering Saturday, led the Raiders with two goals despite taking nine shots. Yet it wasn’t enough as the Orange snapped Colgate’s four-game win streak.
