At 5-foot-7 and 148 pounds, Wyatt Hottle is Syracuse’s shortest and lightest player. But he’s never compared his stature to others or let it define him. Instead, his father Ed Hottle described him as “intrinsically driven.” Hottle has honed his stick skills for Syracuse, and his low center of gravity allows him to quickly dodge past defenders. These advantages have led to a career-high 17 goals and 27 points this year, ahead of the ACC Tournament Friday. “He would be in our 6 a.m. group, lifting with college football athletes as a ninth grader, and kind of holding his own. Not kind of. Absolutely holding his own," said Anthony Pedrotti, former Stevenson University head strength and conditioning coach. Click the link in our bio to learn more.
