Bugatti took the most extreme track machine they have ever built and asked one question - what if performance was not the point?
The Destrier is a one-of-one creation under Bugatti's Programme Solitaire — built on the Bolide's carbon fibre monocoque and full 8.0 litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine producing 1,578 horsepower, then stripped of every wing, every aerodynamic add-on, and every concession to downforce. What remains stands exactly one meter tall — lower than any road-going Bugatti ever produced — shaped not around lap times but around proportion, craftsmanship, and the kind of visual presence that belongs in the Louvre as much as it belongs on a road.
The Sapphire Celeste paintwork and haute couture interior were developed in direct collaboration with a single anonymous private collector — the only person on earth who will ever own it. Programme Solitaire commissions command eight-figure sums well past $20 million USD. No price has been confirmed. None will be.
