“I Also Long To Be Fictional” 2026, acrylic gouache on paper. This painting found a beautiful new home this week. I know it will be much loved. I think it’s my favorite that I’ve painted this year. 🥲 Prints available in a couple of sizes on my website. A tiny bit behind this painting: I’ve been painting these dancers in a few places this year. I think they represent a dream/fantasy/greek chorus/mischievous type thing. Also, devils showing up in my work lately. Mischief again. The wallpaper pattern is based off of some of my favorite miniatures I painted last year (maybe you own one?). Someone please HIRE ME TO MAKE WALLPAPER. 😊 My four cats are here. Left to right: Alfie, Jasper, Teddy, and Birdie. The cheese dome box at the bottom left was a box we used to keep Christmas ornaments in when I was growing up. I think my parents got the cheese dome for their wedding. #painting #paintings #dancers #fantasypainting #interiordesign #interiordecor #writersblock #catsinart #cats #gouach...
