September 15, 2026, Bay of Concarneau, France: A maritime parade was held in the Bay of Concarneau to pay tribute to sailor Charlie Dalin, winner of the 2024-2025 Vendée Glob, who passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 42 after a long battle with cancer. Many families from the sailing and maritime communities took part in this tribute, which was organized in accordance with wishes expressed by Charlie Dalin before his passing.
