To really understand the energy LeonThaLion brings to the RTSB stage, you have to know his history with us.
Leon first showed up as a student competing in the battle.
After he won the final because his opponent hurt a shoulder, he didn't just walk off with the win—he actually shared the prize money with the injured dancer.
It was an incredible moment of sportsmanship.
The next year, while he was still in high school, he came back to teach a Turfing workshop to the next wave of students.
Seeing him now as a professional street dancer is a full-circle moment.
He’s gone from the floor to the front of the stage, and now he’s the voice of the battle, holding the mic and holding down the culture he started in.
Leon is exactly what Rock the School Bells is all about.
See you at RTSB20,
@leonthalion.
