Jann Arden brought her trademark wit - and an urgent message - to the stage as she accepted the Artists for Peace and Justice Impact Award, honouring her tireless humanitarian work. Recalling how her beloved mom instilled in her a lifelong love of animals, Jann, 64, called on Canada to end the export of live horses to Japan, where they are slaughtered for human consumption. “If I’m not getting a death threat at least once a month, I’m not doing it right,” said the outspoken singer, activist, author and TV personality - earning laughs while reminding the room why she refuses to stay silent 👏 #apj2026 #animalrights #humanitarian
