🏃🏾‍♀️ A new chapter for Victory Track in New Orleans East. Today, NORD celebrated the completion of improvements to the Joe W. Brown Victory Track at Joe W. Brown Memorial Park. The newly resurfaced track was made possible through more than $500,000 in state funding secured by Jason Hughes while he served as State Representative. Hughes now represents District E on the New Orleans City Council. Victory Track serves NORD athletes, local middle and high school programs, and residents who use the facility for walking, running and everyday fitness. The ribbon cutting marked more than the completion of a resurfacing project, it represented continued investment in recreation infrastructure and a community asset that serves New Orleans East year-round. 📍 Joe W.
