This National Historic Landmark once was one of the most luxurious hotels in America & Floridas first “Magic Kingdom” for the elite 👀✨ Now, the iconic Tampa Bay Hotel serves as a museum and part of the University of Tampa campus with all the original Gilded Age glamour still intact 🤩 Fun fact: It cost over $3 million to build in the late 1800s — an insane amount for the time. It has a Moorish Revival architectural style inspired by the design elements of the medieval Islamic world. This is a rare style to see in Florida 😍 I really enjoyed getting a look into old time Florida at the museum.
