Taje’ George, C’2028, an Environmental Science major with a minor in Political Science, spent her summer as an HBCU Environmental Justice Climate Corps Intern, where she met Dr. Robert Bullard, the “Father of Environmental Justice.” Alongside a team of five, she researched how AI data centers’ rising energy demand intersects with federal energy policy, their presentation took first place out of four competing teams. She also visited a Houston community working to combat high electricity bills through local innovation. #SpelmanSummer
