The Cavs don’t win that championship without him 🤷‍♂️💯 Matthew Dellavedova’s impact on that 2016 title run went way beyond the box score, dude was the ultimate glue guy for a Cavs team that needed exactly that. His reputation was built the year before against these same Warriors, drawing praise from LeBron himself for locking up Steph Curry so well that Curry missed a Finals-record 13 threes in one game. That hustle and grit became part of Cleveland’s identity heading into 2016, even undrafted role players believed they belonged on a championship roster because of guys like Delly setting the tone. Not every title comes down to the stars alone, sometimes it’s the guy diving for loose balls and getting hospitalized for dehydration that makes the difference. What’s the most underrated “glue guy” performance you remember from a championship run? (via thuylnyqjub/tt) #matthewdellavedova #cavs #nbaedits
