💌 ETBU SOFTBALL PEN PAL PROGRAM 💌 The ETBU Softball Pen Pal Program began in the fall of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when many children were confined to hospitals and unable to receive visitors, our players were given the special opportunity to connect with them through handwritten letters, encouragement, and friendship. What began during a difficult season has grown into something incredibly special to our program. Since 2020, our Valor Gals have had the privilege of connecting with more than 300 children! 💙 Some of our pen pals have been navigating an illness, coping with the loss of a loved one, facing challenges at school, or walking through a difficult season. Others simply love having the opportunity to build a friendship with a college student-athlete and experience a little bit of college life and ETBU Softball through their pen pal!
