#2Pac was shot in Las Vegas 30 years ago today 🕊️ 2Pac attended the Mike Tyson vs. Bruce Seldon fight at the MGM Grand hours prior. Whilst leaving the fight, 2Pac instigated a beat down on gang member Orlando Anderson with members of the Death Row Records entourage. Following the beat down, 2Pac returned to the Luxor Hotel & Casino where he was staying with his fiancee Kidada Jones. Later that night, Suge collected 2Pac from the Luxor and was headed to Club 662 (a club in Las Vegas owned by Suge Knight). Club 662 was hosting an after party for the Tyson fight. Mike Tyson himself was scheduled to make an appearance at the club and the evening had several high profile performers booked. 2Pac himself, RUN DMC, Mary J. Blige & Craig Mack to name a few. On his way to Club 662, 2Pac was shot 4 times at a stop light on Flamingo & Koval in retaliation for the beat down he instigated on Orlando Anderson a few hours prior.
