Built in 1919 by banker Otto Hermann Kahn, Oheka Castle — in Huntington on Long Island — hosted extravagant 1920s parties attended by celebrities like Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, and Groucho Marx. Scott Fitzgerald enjoyed the benefits of living in the Jazz Age, gathering the real-life inspiration for his masterpiece novel: "The Great Gatsby." #TheGreatGatsby #FScottFitzgerald #OhekaCastle #JazzAge #DriveByHistory #LongIslandHistory #RoaringTwenties #ClassicLiterature #Shorts #THIRTEEN #PBS
