Voting Rights Victory: This week in Missouri, Gov. Mike Kehoe signed a bill restoring voting rights to more than 41,000 residents on felony probation and parole! While we celebrate this victory, the work is far from done. Missouri’s new law still bars people with convictions for certain crimes from voting while on parole or felony probation, and people currently incarcerated due to a felony conviction. Every citizen deserves equal access to the ballot box, regardless of their involvement in the justice system. When justice-impacted citizens are empowered to vote, participate in community leadership, and engage in public discourse, it fosters a sense of belonging and connection to one’s community. #UnlockTheVote
