🌟 Advocacy Spotlight 🌟 chicagovotes & the Unlock Civics Coalition are leading the fight to pass the RACE Act (SB1733) — a bill that would restore voting rights to people in prison and expand civic education courses inside. These classes are already running in 30 prisons, led by incarcerated peer educators with support from community partners. Passing the #RACEAct would expand this work and make Illinois the first state in the nation to restore voting rights to people in prison.
