The future is bright! Loved getting to speak with hundreds of students from NYU, Tisch, Juilliard and beyond about entertainment, culture, and the challenges facing the next generation entering this industry. The big question: How do you break in when the old pathways feel more fractured than ever? My answer: become a multi-hyphenate driven by purpose. We’re in the generation of the creative entrepreneur. It’s no longer enough to just be an actor, writer or director. We have to think like producers and entrepreneurs—creating value, building opportunities, and not simply waiting for someone to give us one. Disruption creates opportunity, and after meeting these students, I’m incredibly optimistic about what’s coming next. What do you guys think?
